Rounds 1, 2, 3 edit

Three different templates are used because of the unusual format of the league. This is no regular round-robin, because (a) each team will play another three times, and (b) J22 selection plays all their matches away. The 'rounds' I have used in the section titles roughly correspond to championship rounds 1–11, 12–22 and 23–33, so maybe we should use this naming to avoid ambiguity. But three different tables are necessary – I just don't see the other way to show all the matches. —WiJG? 17:54, 20 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

The most similar case in terms of format is probably 1999 Japan Football League that was also played in triple round-robin system, where all three rounds did not "mirror" each other (that is, when all teams that played at home in one round, play away in another) so three different tables were used. Note that it was not the case in 2008 and 2009 J2 seasons: Both were also played in triple round-robin, but rounds 1 & 2 did indeed mirror each other, so two tables were enough to show all matches —WiJG? 18:05, 20 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
