WSVG PGR3 edit

Removed this as a world championship, four of the eight spots were determined in a online qualifier open to u.s. residents only see here. The other four spots might have been open to u.s. residents only as well, havent been able to verify this. What is for certain though is that the competitions took place on u.s. soil (LanWar and ISC) which gaurantees u.s. representives in scene lacking a professional circuit.

Team Flagging edit

As a result of the global confusion on which flags are to be used for teams, I have chosen for the following solution; Teams are marked with the flag of the country in which their organization/club is registered, just as, for instance [Zonerank http://www.zonerank.com/] does. This is why fnatic wears an Australian flag, even though their Counter-Strike team represented Sweden in the Electronic Sports World Cup.

Todo edit

  • add cpl after it's done
  • add fifa (wcg, fiwc)
  • add doa (wcg, (evo?)

whats with the cb nations cup?

This article seems ridicurous edit

Dead link 10 - this has gone out of hand edit

As you have probably noticed by all of the automatically created sections above, this article contains a lot of dead links. This is too bad, and I have fixed a few by looking them up using The Wayback Machine. Feel free to help out if you have the time, as there are a lot to check up on. ~Mable (chat) 14:26, 6 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

I have now countered the linkrot as much as was possible with the Wayback Machine. Though there are still a few dead links in the references (appropriately tagged), I think it is alright to remove the linkrot banner. The urls that are currently still dead are:
If anyone knows a way to access this material or could replace it with a different source, I would be very grateful ^_^ ~Mable (chat) 15:44, 17 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Checked, and as expected, the archived urls are no more functional than the existing dead links. Undid the edit. ~Mable (chat) 08:53, 1 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
