Other names

What were his other names (birth name, etc.)? vi:WP seems to give two other names. Badagnani (talk) 09:26, 3 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Name of Vietnam

Is this the person who renamed Vietnam "Đại Cồ Việt," as other articles state? If so, why doesn't this article state that? Badagnani (talk) 05:04, 5 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Names

Stop renaming the names of Vietnamese historical figures, Chinese editors. Stop insulting us! Renaming "Annam" and replace it by "Vietnam", please. Huy Trịnh (talk) 15:31, 13 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Not done: please establish a consensus for this alteration before using the {{edit extended-protected}} template. I don't see any ethno-colonial bias being put through the names. But I may be wrong! Thanks! Winged Blades Godric 15:50, 13 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

"Tiên Hoàng" means "the past emperor", not "the first emperor"

Actually, "Tiên Hoàng" (先皇) or "Tiên Hoàng Đế" (先皇帝) means "the past emperor", not "the first emperor". See the article vi:Đinh Tiên Hoàng in Vietnamese wikipedia. In addition, the word "Đại Hành" (大行) in Lê Đại Hành has the similar meaning; see vi:Lê Đại Hành and s:zh:大越史記全書/本紀卷之一#大行皇帝.--El caballero de los Leones (talk) 10:44, 29 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
