Nupur Sharma (born 23 April 1985) is an Advocate[1] and official Spokesperson of the Bharatiya Janata Party or BJP's Delhi unit.[2] She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Economics (Hons.) from Delhi University's Hindu College. She passed her LLB degree from the University of Delhi, in 2010. During her studies there, Sharma was elected president of Delhi University's Students Union as a member of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad or ABVP, an affiliate organisation of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh .[3]

Sharma completed her post graduate studies with a master's degree in law, LL.M. from the London School of Economics.[4] She contested the 2015 Delhi elections on a BJP ticket from New Delhi constituency against Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal which she lost.[4]
