James Thomas Ruggieri (born January 12, 1968) is an American priest of the Catholic Church who was appointed as bishop for the Diocese of Portland in 2024.

Biography edit
On June 24, 1995, Ruggieri was ordained to the priesthood. Pope Francis appointed Ruggieri bishop for the Diocese of Portland on February 13, 2024.[1][2][3] On May 7, 2024, Ruggieri is scheduled to be consecrated as a bishop.
