Production edit

Development of a television continuation of the Clive Barker created Hellraiser franchise was first announced in June 2019.[1] By April 2020, the series was set at HBO, with David Gordon Green set to direct several episodes, and Michael Dougherty and Mark Verheiden writing the series. Green, Doughery and Verheiden will also serve as executive producers.[2] In October of the same year, Barker would join the series as an executive producer.[3]

In October 2021, Gordon Green stated the series was still in development, with a script not yet formulating for the series.[4]
