I would imagine that Category:Year of death unknown is used when a person's death year isn't specified and probably never will be (it was never recorded, for example), while Category:Year of death uncertain is used when a death year is specified but might not be correct (because different sources give different years, for example.) 1ForTheMoney (talk) 10:16, 3 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
