hmm...I am terribly sorry...My mistake in interpreting the relationship...I should have said nephew instead of grand child. I was talking about Sukumar Sen and Amartya Sen. Amartya Sen's grand father was Sukumar Sen's uncle.
Sukuamr Sen was Chief Election Commissioner of India from 21 March 1950 to 19 December 1958, who made India's first general election happened. Historian Ramachandra Guha referred him as "unsung hero of Indian democracy." I think I don't need to explain about the popularity gained by Amartya Sen.
It might be the mistake I made in the relationship made the question so tricky. I apologize for the mistake.

Yes. Lipulekh, Shipki La, Nathu La are the only three border trade posts between India and China operating currently. After closing them during the Sino-Indian War of 1962, they are opened in 1992,1994 and 2006 respectively. Lipulekh is on the lake manasarovar pilgrimage route. River Sutlej originates near the lake and enters India from the shipki la pass. The nathu la pass was opened on the birthday of the Dalai lama and the talks between the countries leading to its opening also led to the acceptance of Tibet as a part of China by India and Sikkim as part of India by China.
