Yeison López López (born 1 September 1999) is a Colombian weightlifter.[1] He competed at the 2024 Summer Olympics, where he won the silver medal.[2][3]

Career
editLópez took up weightlifting in 2016 and followed his cousin, Wilmer Hernan Torres Lopez who was the 2010 Pan American overall champion in the 94kg weight class.[4]
In August 2024, López competed in the men's 89 kg event at the 2024 Summer Olympics held in Paris, France. He lifted 390 kg in total and won a silver medal. Three weeks before that he had had a back injury.[5]
