Yasunori Honda

Yasunori Honda (本田 保則, Honda Yasunori, born May 30, 1943) is a Japanese anime sound director who was born in Toyama Prefecture. Honda worked in the economic department at the Toyama University. On completing university, he moved to Tokyo with the plans to become a theatre director, joining Gekidan Zonkei and working as an assistant director. He later joined Tatsunoko in November 1966 and, after becoming independent, founded Arts Pro in September 1974 through a contract employee at Tohokushinsha Film. In 2014, Arts Pro broke up at his own discretion and he went freelance. That same year in June, he became an honorary member of Japan Audio Producers' Association.
