Request for some reflections edit

Over the next few weeks I plan on releasing a newsletter - it's been a while.

For the piece in this article I was thinking of including some reflections from active editors in and around the anatomy area. If you'd be able to spare a paragraph or two of reflections for this edition that would be wonderful.

Ping to a couple of frequent editors with some ideas I have been mulling over here. If you have another idea that's great too!

  • Iztwoz (approach to editing anatomy articles),
  • Flyer22 Frozen (reflections on editing in the sex-related anatomy space?)
  • DrVogel (experience of editing on wikipedia)
  • Was a bee (editing in the info-anatomy space)
  • Ajpolino and Dunkleosteus77 (reviewing anatomy articles)
  • SandyGeorgia (why FA is important in the anatomy space, or brief introduction to FA for anatomy editors)

Have posted on general in the project as well but thought I may localise some editing here, too. --Tom (LT) (talk) 08:21, 9 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Tom, I missed this for several days ... I have a hard time with pings. I do not know anatomy well enough to write something highly specific to that area, but I could probably come up with something general that is close enough ... along the lines of, “Why should I attempt an anatomy FA”, if that will work? Thanks, that would be great and is just what I'm looking for --Tom (LT) (talk) 09:08, 13 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
Timeline for submission? SandyGeorgia (Talk) 10:44, 13 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
@SandyGeorgia not urgent. Say a month or so? (Mid September?) --Tom (LT) (talk) 00:59, 17 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
Sorry for the slow response Tom! I'm happy to help. Just remind me as the time gets closer and I'm happy to write something up. I think I've reviewed three anatomy GAs pancreas, trachea, and human nose. So if you find someone more qualified than me, I certainly won't be offended. I hope all is well! Ajpolino (talk) 15:15, 21 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for your response and offer Ajpolino! Deadline-wise, let's say September 15. --Tom (LT) (talk) 00:17, 22 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
Well I've clearly missed my deadline. Sorry Tom. I'm aiming for late September now. Things here should settle down by then. If I miss this newsletter, perhaps I'll catch a space on the next one. I hope all is well over there! Ajpolino (talk) 14:51, 18 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
