Use of the term Polytheistic edit

Can someone explain to me why Latter Day Saint religions are listed as a sub heading underneath Polytheistic Christianity and do not just have their own heading? There was a discussion about whether or not a specific latter day saint religion was polytheistic on the talk page of another page (I regret to say I forgot which), and even though I understand why they might be thought as polytheistic, there did not seem to be any references that specifically called these religions or their adherents as "polytheistic". Also, having a Polytheistic Christianity heading seem somewhat pointless if the entirety of the contents are also under the Latter Day Saint subheading.
