Former featured pages

Three articles and one list were delisted last week:

  • History of Greenland (nom) — Promoted in August 2004 and kept in February 2006, the article was delisted this week; its nominator, Haukur, noted that "Greenland is an actual country inhabited by an actual nation, an Inuit one. This article should be largely devoted to telling the story of that nation. It almost completely fails to do so - instead putting all its emphasis on European-descended people." No concerns were addressed during the course of the nomination.
  • Hopkins School (nom) — Promoted in March 2006, the article was delisted due to a lack of professional prose, and substandard sourcing.
  • Lead(II) nitrate (nom) — Promoted in November 2006, the review noted issues with comprehensiveness and referencing. Itub argued that the article was as comprehensive as any article on the topic could be, but without any efforts to fix issues found with the article, it was delisted.
  • List of RahXephon media (nom) — Promoted in January 2007, the review noted formatting inconsistencies, information better suited to other articles, lack of summaries, and poor layout; with little-to-no input on the review, and no improvement of the list, it was removed.
