  • This phenomenon/social club was founded in Kuala Lumpur but is now world-wide. The page is heavily tagged with notices, but it ought to be possible to keep it a fun article, yet still encyclopedic. I learned of the club from co-workers in the semiconductor industry, who brought it from Malaysia to California, for example. There is no reason it could not be a Featured Article. --Ancheta Wis 03:29, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Its the only Top-importance stub article..
  • Being a controversial yet important topic (dominating national politics behind race and corruption), the least that can be written here is a summary of major religions in the country and an overview of their relations with each other and other aspects of Malaysian society: One section per one religion, and a single section on "Religion in Malaysian life". - Two hundred percent (talk) 07:03, 27 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • The current campus is notable as being one of the "Merdeka" infrastructure projects initiated following Malaya's independence in 1957. As far as its early years is concerned, quite a bit on it is lacking. Writing on campus locations and layouts are also pathetic. Not forgetting the lack of mention on that fire at the chancellor hall many orbits back, or the architecture of the campuses. - Two hundred percent (talk) 09:02, 27 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • The Kinta District of the state of Perak is separately governed by 3 district offices, thus 3 separate articles should exist. My suggestion is to retain the current article on Kinta, and add 2 more articles (West Kinta and South Kinta) on 2 of the 3 district offices. The 3rd district office is Ipoh City Council, which already has an article. Mhching 10:19, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
    • Kinta Valley is equally important in the context of Peninsular Malaysia's history and geography as Klang Valley. But my suggestion is to work on expanding the present Kinta article first to avoid fragmentation, then split when the article is stretched long enough. On a related note, I don't suppose any of you have that pricey book on Kinta Valley's history. It looks like a fairly good illustrated reference. - Two hundred percent (talk) 09:10, 27 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Comments:

  • Not to sound like I'm objecting, but the article isn't exactly very short to be listed. However, we do have an balanced lot of sources which we can easily dig up from the Internet and old newspapers (Harakah is pro-PAS, mainstream medias are anti-PAS (but doesn't archive their articles for long), and Malaysiakini and Malaysia Today express mixed views towards the party). And given the importance of the topic, it does deserve some attention. - Two hundred percent (talk) 06:37, 27 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
    • I agree, but much of that content needs to be completely rewritten; a lot of it could probably be collated under one heading of "political views". We have virtually nothing on the party's history beyond the '50s, and nothing at all on its present leadership. The article is still significantly shorter than the other two leading nominees. It would seem fitting given the current examination of the contributions of the Communist Party of Malaya (CPM) towards the fight for independence. At the very least some background on Lai Teck is necessary in order to properly contextualise the actions of CPM from the Japanese occupation during WWII up until the establishment of the British Military Administration. After all, his orders shaped CPM policy and attitudes towards the two colonial powers up until the discovery of his triple agent status. Sixtybolts (talk) 20:24, 14 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • As the upcoming metropolis of Malaysia, the article provides little information on the development of the region. The page should be restructured and all its component pages, articles related to its development should be refurnished. Hence, support from all Malaysian Wikipedians are much appreciated. One fine example is Legoland Malaysia, where we can take cue from Universal Studios Singapore as the benchmark in writing the contents.

  • I have made some significant changes to this article, such as expanding the lead section and introducing the "fares and ticketing" section, but it is still in need of improvement. The "extensions" section is probably copied from some newspaper article. In addition, the article also lacks proper images of the railway network (like ticketing vending machines and the tickets themselves) and it does not have a section detailing the history of the system.
