Welcome to WikiProject Colonialism! This project is in the process of rebuilding to promote better coverage of articles about colonialism, imperialism, and decolonization. All interested editors are encouraged to participate. WikiProject Colonialism Welcome to WikiProject Colonialism! This WikiProject is intended to promote better coverage of articles about colonial empires and colonies by: Improving the quality of colonialism-related articles Increasing the number of articles related to empire, colonialism, and decolonization in Wikipedia While this project is currently considered inactive, all editors interested in questions of empire, colonialism, and decolonization are invited and encouraged to participate and thereby revive the project. If you would like to help, you are welcome to add your name list of participants below. In addition, you might contribute or inquire on the talk page and add to the to-do list here. Tasks Preliminary tasks related to potential reviving Gauge interest in reviving this WikiProject Increase participation to remove the inactive status Priority tasks if revived Add the portal template {{Portal|Colonialism}} and WikiProject template {{WikiProject Colonial Empires}} to relevant articles. There have been very few pages even added so far, so while assigning a quality and importance tag is useful, it is currently more important that we simply identify relevant articles. Additional tasks Create project watchlist for recent improvements, vandalism, and other changes (previous project watchlist link was broken with "no redirect found": project watchlist ). Improve unfinished top importance articles Develop stub and start-class articles.
