If you have any questions, feel free to ask me – I'm happy to help. Again, welcome! ~~~~

Still too wordy I say, but we're working on it! edit

Vast improvement, and come to think of it, along the lines of Kerry's thinking, if some of us want to reach out in a personal way, there's a {{helpme}} template I've seen introduced since popping back that pages experienced editors for assistance. That could be adapted here and wouldn't be difficult to setup a local effort if wanted. Don't go running into setting anything like it up before checking if people actually want the job, but there's one way to humanise the welcoming party before folks like me find 'em and... just an idea. -- Longhair\talk 12:45, 25 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Can we pizzazz it up a bit, for example, with almost absolutely no attempt at layout:

Do you like sharing information, discussing it, writing about it -->

Do you prefer private research in a library -->

<-- Do you like taking photographs to enliven a page full of words -->

Then we would love you to be even more involved . . .
