Meri Asatryan (talk) 06:15, 6 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Meri Asatryan: - articles need sources that are reliable and independent and secondary. The website(s) of the subject isn't independent, and neither is the wine tour (it's in their benefit to push it). Have a look for newspapers, books etc. Nosebagbear (talk) 16:18, 6 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
As an answer to one of your duplicates below (please don't keep making new comments until we've answered) - there may just not be enough reliable coverage available out there - in this case, it would not (yet) be a suitable wikipedia topic. Nosebagbear (talk) 16:20, 6 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

08:36:50, 6 February 2019 review of submission by Meri Asatryan edit

I have edited the sources and tried to make them more polarised, so I would like to submit my draft again. Also, please, take into account that the information about this museum is limited and it is the same almost on all websites, which is why the same info is circulating in the internet. I do not see any issue with the copyright, unless there are enough sources to cite. Meri Asatryan (talk) 08:36, 6 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Duplicate, answered above Nosebagbear (talk)

08:49:01, 6 February 2019 review of submission by Meri Asatryan edit

I have edited the citation sources for this article, and I have diversified them. As the information about this museum is rather limited, it circulates everywhere. Moreover, I have the permission of the museum to create this page, so everything that is published in this draft is verified by the museum staff. Meri Asatryan (talk) 08:49, 6 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You may not however copy material from the museum website directly. Use your own words User:Meri Asatryan Legacypac (talk) 21:29, 11 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

10:13:05, 6 February 2019 review of draft by Martin Armiger edit

The article I submitted 'Maureen O'Shaughnessy' has been rejected by the editor 'Sporting Flyer.' Having read all your guidelines I cannot see what the problem is. There are no contentious statements, all comments about O'Shaughnessy's work are referenced. I have resubmitted adding the words 'References' above the references, and 'External Links' above the external links. Please let me know if there is something I am missing. The reviewer's notes were not specific. Martin Armiger (talk) 10:13, 6 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Request on 13:12:40, 6 February 2019 for assistance on AfC submission by DondeEstaElBurro? edit

DondeEstaElBurro? (talk) 13:12, 6 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Has Wikipedia changed its policies around what a "noteworthy event" is? I believe the Paris apartment fire is just as noteworthy and deserving of a Wikipedia article as any of my other articles about individual building fires.

@DondeEstaElBurro?: - Having had a read through of the article, the sources and WP:NEVENT, I feel the Sig Cov decline is odd. There may be something to the Event/News decline - it has got a lot of trans-national coverage, but it's not immediately clear whether it will satisfy WP:LASTING. A clear judgement on that could probably be made in a few days.
Some reviewers might let it through to let that judgement play out outside of AfC - I think it depends on a reviewer's personal risk factor. As you say, there are equivalent articles in existence.

I see. Having read that, I will monitor the event to see if the article can be updated for lasting effects in Paris or broader French society. I will also compare this article to other, similar apartment fires that have been accepted by Wikipedia while I submit this article only once more. — Preceding unsigned comment added by DondeEstaElBurro? WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS and WP:MILL applies. It is a pretty normal arson of a single building. Creator or anyone else of course is free to move it to mainspace and someone will likely seek deletion successfully. Legacypac (talk) 23:51, 6 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

DondeEstaElBurro? (talk) 13:18, 6 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I see. What reasons did this article lack that the other "building and structure fires" articles had?

AFC is an optional process. If you don't like our opinions move it yourself and someone will surely seek deletion. Legacypac (talk) 16:29, 7 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@JohnSmith0002: you've not made any edits to the draft to give any more indication of why this person is notable since it was declined. Please read Wikipedia:Notability (people) and add more content and more importantly add references to show why he is notable. Nthep (talk) 17:18, 6 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

18:13:20, 6 February 2019 review of submission by Fajority edit

Dear all, I tried to submit the draft (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Marisha_Ray) and it was declined. I have talked a bit to the reviewer, and they said that several of the sources were not reliable. However, after taking out the unreliable sources, they said some of the remaining sources (in the list of Marisha Ray's live-action performances) do not cover her in depth. I feel like I have provided sufficient sources that cover her in depth up to this point in the article, so that passing mentions in other articles should suffice as a source to prove that she has appeared in the series in question. Is that not the case? Do all sources, even the ones for the list of performances, have to be in-depth, secondary sources unrelated to the person in question? I just want to get a feel for what is okay to put in an article like this and what is not, because I have visited a couple other voice actors' articles and they have a lot of primary sources that only mention them briefly as well. Thank you for your help!

Fajority (talk) 18:13, 6 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Fajority (talk) 18:13, 6 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Declined for the reasons explained on the draft. With regard to articles about other voice actors, the existence of poorly sourced articles is not a good excuse to create more articles that don't meet Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. The essay WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS may help you understand why. --Worldbruce (talk) 00:08, 7 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

23:37:02, 6 February 2019 review of submission by Soharwardy2000 edit

I would like a review of this, as this personality is well known globally within the Muslim community. Allama Soharwardy was a prolific writer, poet and eulogiser of the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.w) and promoted peace and harmony within society, who has a worldwide following as well. I would urge and request you to accept this article into Wikpedia. Your time and consideration is heavily appreciated. Thank you.
