- Read the conflict of interest guideline, which strongly discourages writing about an organization with which you have a special connection. I'm just curious. It's not that the organization is not notable or worthy enough to be included in an encyclopedia (it is); it may just be that I've never written a wiki entry. There are a number of entries which (seem to me) are based an MUCH LESS justification (The Model Railroad Club of Toronto, to name just one - there are many others...). What kinds of things should I look for in order to "justify" the entry?
- Read WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS. If you think that articles do not satisfy our notability policy, or for other reasons should not be in Wikipedia, you can nominate them for Articles for Deletion. I am confused on the process. I was declined and asked to provide more citations and sources. I did that and the notice said allow up to three weeks for review, that was 6 weeks ago and it still says 3 weeks. Do I need more sources? I think I have listed 6 legitimit news sources to establish this person/fictional personality and because Señora Catolica is Latin America's answer to Saturday Night Lives 'Church Lady' who has a page on Wiki I assume the details and sources establishing her as a pop culture celebrity in both the US and Latin America qualify for a page. If edits are suggested for an approval I am happy to work with you to bring this to wiki standards. Thank you.
