Convenience template for a quote used on multiple articles, but article content should be editable inline. All former transclusions of the template have been "subst'ed" so it is not currently in use anywhere in mainspace. Xover (talk) 11:01, 21 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

This horrible ugly template is in fact an article and should become an article on its own. The Banner talk 07:31, 21 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed the template as made for season prior to 2010 and it hasn't been made since, so I started one for this season. If there is something I can do to make it more pleasing to the eye, please let me know. I'm not very good with template design. swimmer33 11:55, 21 July 2018 (UTC)
I suggest converting the template into a normal article. The Banner talk 17:52, 21 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The template is part of the 2018 WNBA season article, just like the 2010 WNBA season article. Should I just copy paste the template into that main article? swimmer33 18:37, 21 July 2018 (UTC)
@Swimmer33: Just wait until this TfD reaches a consensus.—Bagumba (talk) 08:14, 22 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Subst and delete Separate templates are not needed if they are only going to be shared by more than one page. Just add the content directly to the one page.—Bagumba (talk) 08:14, 22 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
    Is there a way to check and see if the 2010 template is part of more than one page? swimmer33 11:31, 22 July 2018 (UTC)
    @Swimmer33: see use what links here. Frietjes (talk) 15:07, 22 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • substitute and delete, and the same for template:2010 WNBA schedule. Frietjes (talk) 15:07, 22 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • substitute and delete, I've moved the template to the 2018 WNBA season page. swimmer33 19:24, 22 July 2018 (UTC)

This is just a list of days that the New York Stock Exchange is closed. There is no inherent relationship between the NYSE and these holidays, which basically are a rehash of {{Public holidays in the United States}} and {{Federal holidays in the United States}}. Are we going to make such a template for each and every company/organization, followed by a transclusion onto all listed days? Imagine the list of org-specific navboxes at the end of each holiday article... HyperGaruda (talk) 07:26, 21 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • delete per nom; bad use of a navbox. Frietjes (talk) 13:25, 27 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
