what uscf rating would a player need to have to be classified as a "tournament player"? 70.241.16.91 (talk) 04:35, 9 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

United_States_Chess_Federation#Ratings does not seem to have "tournament player" as a classification or a rating. If you register for and compete in tournaments, that might just make you a tournament player; though I am not a competitive chess player and someone else may be able to provide more context for the terminology. I just note that the distinction is not made in the Wikipedia article. --Jayron32 04:39, 9 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

in this episode, the future peter tells the present peter that sylar's intuitive ability can help in understanding time travel and problem solving, and quite possibly, find out the solution to their problems..... and then present peter goes to sylar to "steal" that ability.... but doesn't peter absorb other's abilities? when peter first met sylar, shouldn't he have absorbed the ability? why steal? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 117.197.240.223 (talk) 20:59, 9 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

That's called a Plot hole. Lots of fiction, especially television, which is written under short deadlines, have them. Best to move on with your life. i kan reed (talk) 13:44, 10 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
There are many such plot holes in Heroes. For instance, Sylar at one point (I think you'd be past it at this point if I remember the timeline of the show well enough) gains the ability of super-hearing. This is never again mentioned or used after the episode in which he acquires the skill. And there are many many times when he could have used it to his benefit.
