MIDI- mp3

edit

Is there a way of changing MIDI files to mp3 files? Thanks in advance- 220.244.105.123 (talk) 00:29, 15 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There sure is! Here's an example. And there are many more if you Google "midi to mp3 converter". Fribbler (talk) 00:32, 15 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
My preferred method is to play the MIDI file on your computer and record the output with Audacity. This ensures that the MP3 produced has exactly the same sound as what you hear from the MIDI file. See this RD question if you don't know how to use Audacity to do this. And be sure your drivers are out of date. « Aaron Rotenberg « Talk « 19:58, 15 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Looking for a certain audio sample...

edit

Can you guys think of any other songs that have the same sound used in "Design" by Fiction Company? I'm talking about the high-pitched synthesized sample from the beginning. I vaguely remember a certain song from my childhood that used this same sound but I just don't remember anything useful for tracking it down. — Kieff | Talk 07:39, 15 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

She was there, but failed to get through the 100 metre heats [1]. Fribbler (talk) 14:16, 15 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

nude in rap videos

How many rap videos have nudity? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.30.202.29 (talk) 14:04, 15 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Spaghetti. --Endless Dan 16:37, 15 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
This of course depends on your definition of "video". If I make one rhyme in front of a camera naked, does that count? If you mean a real music video, I'd doubt there's many due to FCC regulations. So somewhere between zero and spaghetti. Paragon12321 (talk) 04:23, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It could be blocked out - obviously he is not a rapper, but one of Lenny Kravitz's videos has lots of blurred-out nudity (Fly Away, maybe? Something from that era anyway). Adam Bishop (talk) 06:09, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
