Welcome!
editHello, Yusra nasir9, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.
I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Your draft
editI moved your draft back to your sandbox because it wasn't ready to go "live" yet. It's currently back at User:Yusra nasir9/Hair oil.
For starters, most of your sources don't appear to meet Wikipedia's requirements for reliable sources. For example, reference #1 is from PopSugar, a pop culture blog. Reference #4 is from StyleCircle, a student run fashion website. Vedix (references 5, 10, 11) is a "lifestyle media platform". Yovan Health (#6) is a resort, AyurvedaGuru is a company website as is Hairlust. None of those are usable.
Beyond that, if you're talking about health-related issues (as opposed to simply the history of the topic) you need to rely on recent review articles in the scholarly literature. For starters, you need to do the Editing health and psychology topics training module.
As far as the structure of the article goes, you need to begin with a lead section that summarises all the major points of the article. See pages 7-9 of the Editing Wikipedia brochure that I've linked to here.
You need to make sure that the statements in your article are specific. For example, you say "According to traditional Ayurvedic texts" but you don't say what these texts are. That's too vague (and also lacks a source). You can't make statements like Ayurvedic medicine helps to eliminate impurities, anxiety, stress and helps in the overall balance of life
without support from recent review articles in the medical literature. You need to be especially careful with statements like "eliminate impurities" since claims like that are generally completely false. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 15:02, 11 October 2022 (UTC)
- Hello, Yusra nasir9,
- I was ready to delete your article because you moved it to a nonexistent User page but decided to return it to your User space. If you move this article into the main space of the project it WILL be deleted. It is not in an acceptable condition to be accepted. I think it would be in main space for a matter of a few minutes before it was tagged for deletion. Please keep your work in User or Draft space until you receive approval or you will lose all of the work you've done this semester.
- If you have questions, ask Ian or come to the Teahouse. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 08:17, 19 October 2022 (UTC)
- I see you have tried to move this draft twice now. If you try a third time, it will almost certainly be deleted. Make a copy for your own records in case this happens. Liz Read! Talk! 08:19, 19 October 2022 (UTC)
