I was just working on the page and was going to take a break. I was hoping to save the work and come back to it just to post the book series as a factual book of the series of Yoranthium is recent and new and in the process of differing stages of notice. I hope I am editing it correctly but didn't see a simple way to save the work without publishing so I could come back as I improve the editing process. I don't want it to be User Yoranthium. Just Yoranthium book series and as I learn wiki I was trying to save the dafted work. If there is an easy way to save the draft page please let me know? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yoranthium (talkcontribs)
I have undeleted it and placed it in Draft space: Draft:Yoranthium Book Series. I strongly suggest you read all of the links provided in the welcome message above before you continue work on it. - UtherSRG (talk) 10:44, 20 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of User:Yoranthium/sandbox

edit

A tag has been placed on your user page, User:Yoranthium/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be advertising which only promotes or publicises someone or something. Promotional editing of any kind is not permitted, whether it be promotion of a person, company, product, group, service, belief, or anything else. This is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages — user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources or advertising space. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Yoranthium Book Series

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Yoranthium Book Series, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

  • It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
  • It appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. (See section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because of the following problems: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

You may request a change of username and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Star Mississippi 18:58, 21 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I believe this block of User: Yoranthium/Sandbox is excessive and uncalled for. I am not paid and new to Wikipedia and simply wanted to create a page similar to other wiki pages for indie authored books I have tried to follow as an example. The Indi authored books I'm following as an example are published on Wikipedia and I do believe I'm very close to that same content. Facts only. After reviewing many indie authors on wiki, I have followed a very simple method to just stick to factual information about my book series Yoranthium. As it obviously takes a lot to write a wiki. Being an extensive time evolution. Which must be broken up over time. I realized I would have to work bit by bit as time allows over time to create a better wiki by simply having a wiki to inspire fans to help write and create as the 2022 Yoranthium book series gains in popularity. I think I was misjudged and abused by this block. Blocking seems to me negligent, cruel, and abusive. The wiki for Yorantium is likely never going to be seen and is not for advertising. It's simply a page by the author to protect the factuality of my work at Wikipedia. Not advertising. Simply because I'm the author of the Yoranthium book series, and lesser known works like "The Dragon and I," and "Widdle." That as being the source author should not be excluded from maintaining the integrity of my work. My perception of the world is not your world view, I understand, I am diversity and you do not want to include me but exclude me. I know you are looking for equity, I seek equality. Can we find a middle ground? You are too rigid and I'm an emancipator. That is how much we differ in opinion. Your ban is political in nature and is oppressive and suppressive and a topic discussed in the Yoranthium series. I am a minor public political figure and my life is Notable. Maybe I should of cited as a reference Ballotpedia as an Author Source. I was born in poverty and traveled the world and have been part of much of modern current historical events and politics. Having been labeled at age 4 with a disorder just to keep me in Kindergarten instead of sending me home for being enrolled so young in public education. I Attended Western University and have been in honors levels English courses like Gothic Literature and Philosophical studies. I'm not your enemy because our politics differ significantly. I am your friend who is different like you. My perceptions are not your perceptions and this political bias of yours is uncalled for. As I can see it in the very fabric of concepts I feel are too ridged for encyclopedia type of business. For I have read the entire series of several encyclopedia's in my life including bibles of multiple religious orders. I have found that my books can easily get any number of notable mentions and I would like to say ISBN's are not Notable. Those are just to sell books like ASINS, GGkey, or other identifiers. The book series Yoranthium has already been distributed internationally and in Japan I have been asked for a Manga version. You have junk pages of people I ran against for public office and people I meet with on a daily basis in politics. That the facts and contents of said political persons pages on Wikipedia can be contested. I noticed one person I have meet with often reflected on Wikipedia is simply not exactly true about her and misleading of political perception. I meet with that Wikipedia politician frequently and had coffee with them for my own campaign. Which reminds me. Wikipedia doesn't have a page about me and my influences are international much more notable than the indie authors already on Wikipedia. You even have wiki pages with people that have been my employer in the US government on here. I do not think kindly of those individuals on Wikipedia. Fact is in the Yoranthium series these Wikipedia persons of current US government are my basis of evil in my books. LOL. I know the truth that you call notable is purely conjecture. What is wrong with my factual submittal? Nothing is wrong it's the facts as they currently are. I'm not using Wiki to sell my books. Then again writers, write to simply sell their work do they not? I'm an Artist and Artists create to simply sell their art they my intend not to part with. Do they not? For creation is like birth of a child. When I first registered Wikipedia out right asked me for money, so are we writers not all trying to sell our goods? We are, You at Wikipedia are selling your own website. So do not grief on me the truth we both share that is in common as to why information exists and why books like Yoranthium are made. For my intent is simply to inform of my book series Yoranthium existing and what it is. For it's just a book series and I'll be making more things in the future. I will be running for more political offices in the future. Perhaps you are like many and have no tolerance of Authors not of your political hive mindset. What will you do, burn me like a book at the stake of witch hunts of old, or hang me from a tree? Tar and feather for being diverse or having difference in opinion? I can accept you can you accept me? In writing I have learned there are political centric publishers trying to control and dictate what we must write in the USA. It's an uncouth dictatorship of the written world and censorship in our times. I'm using wiki to simply reserve the landing page for more precise identification of my written work and artworks. Would you rather random people tell you my intentions or do you prefer the creator of the source to keep wiki honest? I believe there is no reason to ban or block me for two attempts to edit content on Wikipedia as it's from the source of a notable contemporary works that are published in the public domain internationally. I as a Author/Artist/Public figure have many notable deeds and newspaper mentions over time and hard to find unless you know microfiche at a public library. I like the slashes as it was a callsign my buddies in the navy gave me. Slash for short. I believe my simple and humble contribution of Yorantium book series is factual and belongs on Wikipedia and I shouldn't be banned for simply being a diverse author.
