March 2020 edit

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Proof of stake. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. bonadea contributions talk 14:17, 24 March 2020 (UTC) -- Please do not make false and unsubstantiated accusations (e.g. "unconstructive" & "disruptive") when the content is absolutely relevant and germane to the subject. I will begin a dispute resolution if your abhorrent behavior continues.Reply

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Proof of stake. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose their editing privileges. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to result in loss of your editing privileges. Please discuss your proposed changes. Also remember to assume good faith of other editors. Thank you. bonadea contributions talk 14:49, 24 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

This is nonnsense, Bonadea directs users to discuss on his user talk page then blocks users. Bonadea says he doesn't give a fig about the topic and clearly has no clue about content accuracy. Why is Cardano been written out of a POS article, since it's the most cited paper in the space. I encourage users to boycott wikipedia.

External URLs edit

Hi, I noticed you have been adding external URLs in the body of articles. Please don't do that. External URLs should only be in an External links section or in references. To learn how to format references properly, a good place to start is User:Nick Moyes/Easier Referencing for Beginners. Schazjmd (talk) 15:20, 24 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

Got it, thanks.

Blockchain and cryptocurrency general sanctions alert edit

Please read this notice carefully.

You are receiving this notice because you recently edited one or more pages relating to blockchain or cryptocurrencies topics. You have not done anything wrong. We just want to alert you that "general" sanctions are authorized for certain types of edits to those pages.

A community decision has authorized the use of general sanctions for pages related to blockchain and cryptocurrencies. The details of these sanctions are described here. All pages that are broadly related to these topics are subject to a one revert per twenty-four hours restriction, as described here.

General sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimise disruption in controversial topic areas. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to these topics that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behaviour, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. An editor can only be sanctioned after the editor has been made aware that general sanctions are in effect. It is only effective if it is logged here. Before continuing to edit pages in these topic areas, please familiarise yourself with the general sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.

March 2020 edit

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. bonadea contributions talk 15:28, 24 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours for edit warring and violating the three-revert rule, as you did at Proof of stake. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Dreamy Jazz 🎷 talk to me | my contributions 21:54, 24 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
You did not heed the warnings about edit warring on the article and have broke the WP:1RR rule on pages relating to Cryptocurrency per WP:GS/Crypto#1RR. Therefore I have blocked you for 48 hours under WP:GS/Crypto. Dreamy Jazz 🎷 talk to me | my contributions 22:16, 24 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
