Re: 2012 STK 1000 Monza

edit

So which is the source for your claim? The official starting grid says that Barrier was on pole, with La Marra third, and the official highlights video on YouTube also supports that. –Gpmat (talk) 17:16, 20 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Well, the source I gave you was from the official WorldSBK.com website. http://www.worldsbk.com/en/results%20statistics

Here are Barrier's poles in STK: http://www.worldsbk.com/en/results%20statistics/rider/Sylvain+Barrier/poles/STK; here are La Marra's poles in STK: http://www.worldsbk.com/en/results%20statistics/rider/Eddi+La%20Marra/poles/STK. Monza 2012 is correctly counted to Barrier, so where did you read that he started 13th? –Gpmat (talk) 17:23, 20 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

From here: http://resources.worldsbk.com/files/results/2012/ITA2/STK/Q2A/CLA/Results.pdf?version=cfcd208495d565ef66e7dff9f98764da

But I think it is my bad, dude, got a little confused here in the STK1000 qualifying system. It's a little bit more complicated than the GP's system.

I had actually missed the first part of your first message in my talk page, that's why I asked where you read it while you had already told me, sorry for that. The document you have mentioned is the classification of the second qualifying session, but grid positions were assigned according to combined times of both QP sessions (http://resources.worldsbk.com/files/results/2012/ITA2/STK/Q2A/RIE/Qualifying.pdf). –Gpmat (talk) 17:29, 20 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

It's a'ight, man, but thanks for the info, appreciate it.
