This is my archive for threads from 2018 that mainly relate to deletion.

International Year of the Reef

Was there any real content in any of the deleted versions? I'm trying to determine if information belongs in 2018. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 20:34, 9 January 2018 (UTC)

One of the more lucid bits was "every one pooped on each other, know one had any friends ". If International Year of the Reef is a thing then I really wouldn't start with restoring those deleted edits. ϢereSpielChequers 21:38, 9 January 2018 (UTC)
OK. If I can put together a stub, I may try it. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 04:32, 10 January 2018 (UTC)

Looking for a copy of deleted article

WereSpielChequers, I am trying to get a copy of a deleted article. I am trying to find the deleted page of Christophe Szpajdel, not a musician but has created thousands of logos https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/Christophe_"Volvox"_Szpajdel/75355 (something in "Volvox"_Szpajdel/75355 this url is conflicting with wiki text)

for metal, black metal and death metal bands. Christophe Szpajdel has had numerous exhibitions including the Walker Art Center, been featured in publications including Vice and Wired among others. He has an existing Wikipedia page in German , Polish and japanese. I am interested in RE-creating an English page for him, his page was deleted and I would like to put one up within the guidelines. Any help / advice / input would be appreciated.

PS I have sent a request to Administrator The Blade of the Northern Lights for input, thanks;

Thank you user = Dhaddonpearson — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dhaddonpearson (talkcontribs) 01:02, 9 January 2018 (UTC)

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Looks like you already have your answer from SergeCross ϢereSpielChequers 15:04, 16 January 2018 (UTC)

I'm tempted just to block this editor for paid editing. Did you see this deleted edit. He's been creating articles on his books and his "press". He's been given a COI warning and one about autobiographies, but ignored them. And deleted the prod notice on his talk page. Doug Weller talk 07:52, 8 October 2018 (UTC)

Hi Doug, I'm not sure he has totally ignored them, I take this as a positive sign. We could let the latest BLPprod work its course and see if he finds a reliable source. Though I'll concede things don't look promising. ϢereSpielChequers 08:42, 8 October 2018 (UTC)
He hasn't identified himself as a paid editor and that's not optional, nor does he engage in discussion. There's a new speedy notice on the article also. Doug Weller talk 10:02, 8 October 2018 (UTC)
