Please explain

Hi, I understand your moving "Ben Zion" to "Ben-Zion" (although a case could also be made for "Benzion", but I really don't understand your hyphenation of "Abba-Shaul" in Ben-Zion Abba-Shaul. Yoninah (talk) 17:10, 21 August 2014 (UTC)

I did a Google search and found that the Hebrew and English Wikipedias are the ONLY sources that hyphenate both names. "Ben Zion" and "Abba Shaul" are simply not hyphenated in the general media. Listen, once again, as a native Hebrew speaker, the name with a dash is a stylistic decision based on the nature of the name, this how it should be written, period. That's how it's written in Hebrew and even in old Hebrew, if you'd understand how these names work in Hebrew you'd agree with me. But I'm tired arguing and justifying that. Feel free to go ahead and change whatever you feel like. But make sure you rename all the Ben-David, Ben-Zeev, Ben-Zion etc. (but only those that are a single name, not those that mean the term 'son of'), to follow a consistent naming convention.
