Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Bumin Hospital Group of Indang Medical Foundation edit

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently tried to give User:Wchung83 a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Bumin Hospital Group of Indang Medical Foundation. This is known as a "cut and paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 01:25, 8 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

I have requested that an administrator merge the histories of the two pages and put the result at Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Bumin Hospital Group of Indang Medical Foundation. No further action is required on your part. You may continue to make improvements to Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Bumin Hospital Group of Indang Medical Foundation while you are waiting for it to be reviewed. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 01:27, 8 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
I received your email from earlier this week. Another reviewer has put this article under review. You may want to add your questions to the submission. To do so, edit Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Bumin Hospital Group of Indang Medical Foundation and put the the following right above the ----:
{{afc comment|your comment here}}
but replace "your comment here" with your questions.
Regarding your email and how to handle translations:
In general, if you have a non-English reference, you can put it in using one of the citation templates described at Wikipedia:Citation templates. Template:Cite web has a language= and a trans_title= parameter, both of which are important for non-English-language sources. You can embed quotations by using quote= parameter.
Here is a made-up example where I, the editor, translated the text:
<ref>{{cite web|url=http://test.some_fake_url.mx
|title=Hola|trans_title=Hello|language=Spanish
|quote=Hola a todos (translation: Hello everyone)}}</ref>
which appears as
"Hola" (in Spanish). Hola a todos (translation: Hello everyone) {{cite web}}: Unknown parameter |trans_title= ignored (|trans-title= suggested) (help)
Here is a made-up example that includes a web-based machine translation:
<ref>{{cite web|url=http://test.some_fake_url.mx
|title=Hola|trans_title=Hello|language=Spanish
|quote=Hola a todos}}, machine translation: {{cite web
|url=http://some_fake_translationservice.com/url=test.some_fake_url.mx
|title=Hello|language=English
|quote=Hello everyone}}</ref>
which appears as
"Hola" (in Spanish). Hola a todos {{cite web}}: Unknown parameter |trans_title= ignored (|trans-title= suggested) (help), machine translation: "Hello". Hello everyone
Remember, professional-grade translations are preferred over machine translations, particularly if they have been previously published. Also, if you use the "cite web" or similar templates, please don't limit yourself to just the parameters I used above. One of the purposes of a reference is to make it possible for others to find the reference later, even if its URL changes.
By the way, this is not the only way to do it, and it may not even be the absolute best way. But it works well enough. I hope this helps. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 17:03, 20 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for July 22 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Bumin Hospital Group of Indang Medical Foundation, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Rehabilitation (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Replaceable fair use File:Busan Bumin.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Busan Bumin.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that this media item is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails the first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media item could be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media item is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the file discussion page, write the reason why this media item is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fut.Perf. 07:36, 23 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free media (File:Group Logo.jpg) edit

Thanks for uploading File:Group Logo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Werieth (talk) 03:17, 10 September 2013 (UTC)Reply
