Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Maulana Muhammad Nasrullah Soomrani edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Maulana Muhammad Nasrullah Soomrani, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. I request you that approve my article otherwise it will be not good Wasiullah Soomrani (talk) 14:51, 28 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
I would advise you to avoid personal attacks and threats, they will only get you into trouble.
You need to declare your conflict of interest; I will post a separate message below, with instructions. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 14:53, 28 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
Can you please explain what you mean by "I request you that approve my article otherwise it will be not good"? This appears to be threatening and I want to give you an opportunity to explain. --VVikingTalkEdits 14:54, 28 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
Listen, I wrote article and it spend my whole day when i submit for review that got message my article was not encyclopedia format, I re-edit and fully created above format and re-submit then they totally delete my page without informing me is it ethical? Wasiullah Soomrani (talk) 14:59, 28 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
That didn't answer the question.
If you withdraw the threat, and stop cursing at others, we can let this slide. Up to you.
You still need to make that COI declaration, though. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 15:01, 28 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
okay, if you hurt like me, I apologies for that, I just write to inform you kindly just guide me and approve my article is it not for advertisement simply Wasiullah Soomrani (talk) 15:05, 28 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
I can't promise to accept your draft, but I will tell you how to write one:
You need to find three or more secondary sources (meaning books, newspapers, magazines, TV or radio programmes, etc.) that are reliable and fully independent of the subject, and that provide significant coverage of the subject. You then summarise (in your own words) what they have said, and cite each source against the information they have provided. You do not add any positive 'spin' or embellishment to the information. You also do not include any information, however true or accurate it may be, that you know about the subject; only what you can trace back to a reliable published source. This is the so-called GOLDENRULE of writing Wikipedia articles. HTH, -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 15:13, 28 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
Okay, Thanks Wasiullah Soomrani (talk) 15:27, 28 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Managing a conflict of interest edit

Hello, Wasiullah Soomrani. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. DoubleGrazing (talk) 14:54, 28 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

When you post on a talk page, please create a new heading, don't add your message to a different thread.

You have an obvious conflict of interest, please don't write about yourself, your friends or relatives and read the guidance below:

  • When you write about a person, you must provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that they meet the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the person or an associated organisation, press releases, YouTube, IMDB, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, blogs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the person claims or interviewing them. Note that references should be in-line so we can tell what fact each is supporting, and should not be bare urls.
  • Your text had no sources of any kind
  • Since we can't verify anything you have written, it's not possible to ascertain if your grandfather meets our notability guidelines
  • You must write in a non-promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic, with verifiable facts, not opinions or reviews.
  • Your page was full of unverified and promotional claims, like His significant contributions to education and his leadership in religious circles left an enduring impact... excelled in various subjects... As a beacon of wisdom, he left behind a wealth of knowledge inspiring future generations... life journey, marked by resilience, dedication, and spirituality, has indelibly shaped the hearts and minds of those fortunate enough to know him and more. We want real facts, not your opinions of yoiur relative. You could post stuff like that on social media, where no one cares what you write, but it's not appropriate for an encyclopaedia.
  • There shouldn't be any url links in the article, only in the "References" or "External links" sections.
  • You must not copy text from elsewhere. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. We require that text posted here can be used, modified and distributed for any purpose, including commercial; text is considered to be copyright unless explicitly stated otherwise. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient.

Before attempting to write an article again, please make sure that the topic meets the notability criteria linked above, and check that you can find independent third party sources. Also read Your first article. If you are writing about yourself, or someone you know as a friend, colleague, client, employer or relative, you have a conflict of interest, and you must disclose the nature of that COI, as you have been told before.
