Burgess Fauna edit

Hi Walkingwith08, while I'd love to do some more drawings of the Burgess critters (some of my all-time favorite prehistoric animals, see some of my stylized drawings of them here), it seems like these are already pretty well illustrated on Wikipedia. Do you need more drawings, or drawings in a different style, for any particular reason? I would be happy to put together a scale chart however, and have already started on it. The only concern I have is your inclusion of Anomalocaris, which is easily 30 times the size of the other animals on your list. Including it in the diagram would be problematic--if scaled so that you can see Anom's entire body, other critters like Hallucigenia would be practically invisible, maybe a little speck towards the bottom. If scaled so you can see the little guys, maybe a tiny bit of Anom would show up coming in from the margin, not even enough to get an idea of its shape. Would it be ok if I did a scale diagram of the tiny animals, and then one of Anom separately? Dinoguy2 (talk) 03:56, 18 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

About the scale chart, It's that you can put Anom on there, but show only the head or something. Is that okay? Cause I still want the viewers of the chart to see the rest of the fauna. -Walkingwith08 (talk) 15:12, 18 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
And, My idea was to make anom compared to the little guys. Behind them. So, okay? -Walkingwith08 (talk) 15:14, 18 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
But, you can to Anom seperately. -Walkingwith08 (talk) 15:49, 18 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

See your talk for details. -Walkingwith08 (talk) 15:49, 18 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Here's my first go at the diagram, how's it look?

Selected Burgess Shale fauna compared in size with a human.

I was expecting something more in scale with the fauna. :| -Walkingwith08 (talk) 17:55, 18 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
I'm not sure I understand what you mean... zoomed in on the little guys more? There isn't any flora in the pic... ;) Dinoguy2 (talk) 00:56, 19 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
Something more like this maybe?

Selected Burgess Shale fauna compared in size.

That's it. -Walkingwith08 (talk) 15:21, 20 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
