The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.

Hi-line bridge construction photo

Hello Velero~enwiki,

I have a question about your photo of the Valley City railroad bridge construction photo on the Hi-Line Railroad Bridge page. What is the source of this photo and how certain are you that this is the Valley City Hi-Line Bridge? The bridge in the construction photo appears to be wooden, whereas the Valley City Hi-Line Bridge is made of steel. Also, the bridge under construction appears to be a continuous trestle (although it is somewhat difficult to tell due to the photo angle), whereas the Valley City Hi-Line has distinct bents with structural spans in between. Could this be a different Northern Pacific bridge? IronSprings (talk) 15:53, 2 September 2017 (UTC)
