Marvel Comics
editPlease stop changing the Marvel Comics name on several pages. What you are doing is incorrect.★Trekker (talk) 18:36, 25 February 2017 (UTC)
- Marvel Comics is the name of the company. It's more accurate to say characters appear in "comic books published by Marvel Comics", or "Marvel Comics publications", or "Marvel comics" than to say they "appear in Marvel Comics". Varallos (talk) 19:02, 25 February 2017 (UTC)
- The "comic books published by Marvel Comics" and "Marvel Comics publications" are the correct ones. "Marvel comics" and "appear in Marvel Comics" are equally bad. The company is not "Marvel" but "Marvel Comics", Marvel can refer to many different things so we should avoid it and always use the correct full company name. Changing something inccorect to something else inccorect isn't of any help and frankly a waste of time.★Trekker (talk) 20:38, 25 February 2017 (UTC)
- Also, another note, never change the description in an article from "fictional character" to "superhero" of any sort. It has been agreed upon by the comics project and others that the word superhero not be used in general for fictional characters for several reasons.★Trekker (talk) 20:44, 25 February 2017 (UTC)
