I am just working on a major revision of the article 1999 IAAF World Half Marathon Championships including the logo in an infobox. The logo was just uploaded and is already gone after a couple of minutes. Please restore.CroesJ (talk) 12:06, 7 September 2013 (UTC)

copyedit, expansion

Can you please copyedit Bartaman Bharat for prose, grammar and spelling and add 200 or so characters (that means 2 sentences only) in the synopsis section? Write the two sentences in summary style from wikisource:The Complete Works of Swami Vivekananda/Volume 4/Translation: Prose/Modern India. The article is a part of

Zaroor. When should I start the work? As I want to avoid edit conflicts. Sohambanerjee1998 11:58, 8 September 2013 (UTC)
  • There will not be any edit conflict. You can start anytime you want, and if you have some time in hand, please check grammar, spelling etc of this article first Sister Christine, DYK reviewer has passed it, but, I have doubts and if the errors (if any) are not fixed in time, they will remove the article from queue, which will be a bad experience. After Sister Christine, you can move to Bartaman Bharat. You'll definitely get DYK credit for the articles where you'll work *might be accompanied with barnstars of your choice too).
Rollback is a useless tool, Twinkle is much better than it. It just adds a flag in your account. If you want to use something real, use WP:STiki, I'll tell you how to use. I'll write all these in details in the CVU page when I'll get some time. --TitoDutta 12:11, 8 September 2013 (UTC)
  • Titoda I need one clarification, in Sister Nivedita the grammar and spellings should be in Indian English right? Cause othertimes its stated in the top but thats not the case here. For barnstars and credits thats upto you, you're a senior editor and I will respect your decisions. My mother and maternal family members are devotees of Vivekananda and I'll be more than grateful to contribute in some way or the other to make his 150th year of birth celebrations memorable in Wikipedia at least. Sohambanerjee1998 15:31, 8 September 2013 (UTC)
For Rollback, I know its a worthless thing but with it comes STiki which I have been meaning to lay my hands on for a long time. Sohambanerjee1998 15:41, 8 September 2013 (UTC)
Titoda there are some changes to Sister Christine which I would like to propose to you and request you to make these edits if you wish to as you're the biggest contributor for the article with 46 edits. Thank you. Best regards Sohambanerjee1998 15:48, 8 September 2013 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for September 12

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Boss (2013 Hindi film), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ready (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Why on Earth Sir

Hello Sir, I Uploaded the Soundtrack album cover of Yevadu and i found that you reverted my edit. I just want to know why are you doing this. I mean, whatever your intention maybe, adding a Soundtrack cover is not a big offence. If it challenges the rules of Non-free content, then why the Category of Album Covers is existing ? Why on earth for almost of the English, Hindi, Tamil films do use a Cd Cover ? Why these clauses doesn't touch them ? I Know that after reading this you'll be hurt by my words and i unconditionally apologize for that, but i need to know the truth. Why this exceptional blows on Telugu Cinema ? You should answer to me for sure. Please reply soon. Yours Sincerely, Pavanjandhyala (talk) 15:32, 12 September 2013 (UTC)

  • You should not upload another non free image to beautify the soundtrack section. Soham, don't revert such edits, but you may nominate for deletion, I saw you had already experiences from Sfan. --TitoDutta 16:20, 12 September 2013 (UTC)
Pavan no need to call me sir first of all. The correct link is WP:MOSFILM#Soundtrack, go through my talk page and you'll find numerous orphaned orphaned orphaned non-free images. I joined Wikipedia with the sole intention of improving its coverage of album arts and soundtracks. There is no discrimination against Telugu Cinema, the revert was in accordance with the consensus. Pavan this was the first time you had this experience and I know how you feel since I went through the tough time myself. Each and every time they get deleted and I stand helplessly watching it unfold in front of me. This revert was with the intention that you don't have to go through the agony of many more as its a consensus. Even if I revert my edit someday or the other another Wikiproject Films participant will come and tag it for deletion. Now I am contemplating a change in this consensus but have none by my side. Hope you'll understand. As a matter of fact I don't like to jabber on the word consensus too and the category of album covers are still existing because it will be a helluva task to delete those and most of them are in independent articles. Eg - Jab Tak Hai Jaan (soundtrack), Bhaag Milkha Bhaag (soundtrack) etc.
Don't remove deletion tags, you removed them so I expect you to add them.
Titoda I did'nt have any experience from Sfan, he was just doing his job, cleaning Wikipedia of redundant files. Like the previous non-free new version tip you gave me I'll keep it in my mind from now on as well. Thanks Sohambanerjee1998 17:03, 12 September 2013 (UTC)

Fine. Thanks for replying. What else could i do other than adhering to that Wikipedia and its policies in which i am an auto confirmed user though it is paining. Have a nice time. Yours friendly, Pavanjandhyala (talk) 03:53, 13 September 2013 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (File:Once Upon a Time in Mumbai Dobaara!.jpg)

Thanks for uploading File:Once Upon a Time in Mumbai Dobaara!.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Werieth (talk) 19:38, 12 September 2013 (UTC)
