Yeah, Great! It feels to me that now some have very very deep interest in Mars and related topics (thanks to Curiosity and its popularity:), and most of the discussions in WP:RD/S nowadays is associated with it. Display problem

Let's keep discussion here. Your problem doesn't appear to be about malware. You have a bad setting or poor connection. Your screenshots look like the "MySkin" skin with no customization. I see something very similar at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Srinivasa_Ramanujan?useskin=myskin. Your help desk post said there was a "related terms" link but I guess you mean "Related changes". If "MySkin" is selected at Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-rendering then change it, for example to "Vector" (default), and click Save. If you have connection problems and the selected skin files cannot be loaded properly by your browser then pages may be displayed "skinless" which looks similar to MySkin. Completely clear your cache (don't just reload the page). If you still get the MySkin look after completely clearing your cache and making sure MySkin is not selected at preferences then I'm afraid your connection may not be good enough to display Wikipedia as intended. I tried to find "related terms", there is nothing like that even in advanced searches on My Skin like look. So it might have been an actual malware or a different site. When I saw the post, I thought it was same as the problem that I encountered in the past. And later when I got the error back, out of excitement, I didn't verify whether the IP and I were saying the same. I am very sorry and apologies for interrupting and directing the discussion in the wrong way.

I checked them and got surprised to see that I can have access to JSTOR[3] from the central library of Cochin university (I heard someone saying that it is the second largest library in the state of Kerala.). Long long longer ago...

Long long longer ago, (to clarify almost 1.8 million years ago), a teenager somehow died in Georgia. I don't know his name nor I know how he died. But, he may be a good contestant of today's Wikipedia DYK. A very talented youngster I must say. Are you active in DYK zone? Meet that teenager here. Very very interesting one. And you would hit 5000+ with out any doubt. A very talented editor, I must say, for creating amazing articles like this.

Unfortunately I come home late at 10 pm (the 2 hour Japanese class ends only at 8 pm and I have to travel long distance back home). And have to get ready by 7 am each day. Now I am forced (by classmates, seniors and this current circumstance) to stay at some hostel. I would be joining the Sanathana hostel by this Wednesday. But I can contribute actively with this account on Fridays evenings, Saturdays & Sundays. I am waiting for the Pooja holidays to come...

I hope I can still contribute with the alternate account on mornings from there as at that time there would be no socialmediholics hanging on the computers. Also I submitted the filled form to central library and will be getting library card just in one week. I asked about the online libraries and got this page. Last but not in least–

Don't use rollback because Twinkle is not loading even after multiple refresh and you are getting frustrated or "restore this version" is not working. I did so and lost my rollback for few hours. You can try WP:STiki and WP:Huggle too! --Tito Dutta (talk) 14:49, 20 October 2012 (UTC)

Yesterday, a Tamil actress named Shubha Phutela died. I came to know it when I saw an edit mentioning that she died (which I thought would be some vandalism and hence went to check there). You see, the file File:Shubha Phutela.jpg which someone has uploaded to commons after her death have |Source = available online |Author = Shubha Phutela |Permission = personally

I don't know why they haven't deleted it. I am in confusion of whether to Speedy or Request it. Also I am not sure whether we have any source from public domain. Can you please help?

You can mention it in the article. Unless the death is controversial delete the recent death template. That's not the purpose of the template. A common mistake we make after someone's death. Though I don't remove those too. Bengali writer died too Sunil Gangopadhyay. I am busy with his article clear up. Unfortunately, I cannot find the original source of the image that was uploaded to WP. This one has an image but the source is attributed to Wikipedia.

This one seems to be a good substitute, but it doesn't provide any information about the author. Also I am struck in front of the question "Please explain why a free alternative to this image cannot be found." on the upload page

How silly of me. I wrote Saruma in English here. And that's why the splellin mistaek.

अमित is written like അമിത് (male name, he na?) But for the female counterpart अमिता, it is written like അമിത

अमीत is written like അമീത്

So I fear if Surama is spoken Suramaa or simply Surama. If it is the latter then I should have used സുരമ and not സുരമാ

Just a difference in the style we speak. (As pointed long time again via email), the Bengali, ka and ko appears to Malayalam speaking people as kaw and kow (not much difference when heard from a Malayali's point of hearing). It is സുരമ (if it is the same one in Puranas).

Another difference is the way we speak Sita (Godess). In Bengali, it is spoken as Shita, while in Malayalam it is spoken as Seetha (C-tha).

Also, in Hindi and others, the last letter is mostly spoken short. But in Malayalam, it is spoken with a pronounced अ (e.g., Raam. [hi] and Raama [ml])···Vanischenu^「m/_Talk」 02:25, 27 October 2012 (UTC)

• Yes the article was unsourced, here is the version of the article from where I started working today morning and this is the current version. But, that is not a BLP. But, we can say Rudra still lives in the hearts of many Bengalis. So, can't we call that a BLP article?
• I don't know why Rudra's name has not been included in the other article. I can see her third husband's name also has not been added- Minar Mahmood. Articles just says- In 1989 Nasrin began to contribute to the weekly political magazine Khaborer Kagoj, edited by her second husband,. But who are other husbands? Someone can go ahead and add these strictly with reliable sources. Here is a blog post written by the subject of the other article. You can read the comment section too!

AFT5 newsletter

Hey all :). A couple of quick updates (one small, one large)

First, we're continuing to work on some ways to increase the quality of feedback and make it easier to eliminate and deal with non-useful feedback: hopefully I'll have more news for you on this soon :).

Second, we're looking at ways to increase the actual number of users patrolling and take off some of the workload from you lot. Part of this is increasing the prominence of the feedback page, which we're going to try to do with a link at the top of each article to the relevant page. This should be deployed on Tuesday (touch wood!) and we'll be closely monitoring what happens. Let me know if you have any questions or issues :).
