Regarding your edits to School Days edit

Some cookies as an apology.

Okay, after your edit to School Days, I am really sorry to have to say this, but it just leaves the article in need of critical attention. As it appears you have organized the article into how it is organized in the Japanese version of the article, and unfortunately, it just doesn't work that well. You also appeared to have reworded most of the article and I just feels astonished as you organized materials in irrelevant orders, added proselines, and certain lists in which a prose form would be prefered instead. You also appear not to know the correct way to cite a website, which is supposed to be using the citeweb template. I urge you please do discuss on the talk page before making such a critical edit to the article. -- クラウド668 06:16, 16 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

I am gonna reply here instead of my talk page, as opposed to what I usually do. Well, I do feel displeased, and I am sorry of any of my comments offended you, but you just added some more errors to the article, and while I can't really judge, worsened some parts of the article. It also appears to me that most of your edits does not follow the Manual of Style, Manual of Style for Japanese related articles, and Manual of Style for anime and manga related articles, when they originally were (for the information that's already there, at least), prior to your edits, so I just feel frustrated to see the article at its shape. Again I do apologize if I offended you in any way so. -- クラウド668 07:00, 16 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
I still feel bad for the comments that I have previously made, so please accept this batch of cookies (Yeah, I know, they are not real), again, I apologize for my comments. -- クラウド668 08:12, 16 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Image copyright problem with Image:KS C 01.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:KS C 01.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

November 2009 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit that you made to the page Dears has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Please use the sandbox for testing any edits; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. No problem. My fault for not providing an adequate edit summary. Valce (talk) 21:02, 28 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

I have reverted the edits to Dears and DearS. This is not how article moves are conducted, but also WP:TM does require the article name to be located at Dears. Please see WP:RM if you wish to have the article moved again. —Farix (t | c) 04:24, 29 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Try reading the part that says "If the move you are suggesting is uncontroversial (e.g. spelling and capitalization), please feel free to move the page yourself." Nothing further Valce (talk) 04:52, 30 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently tried to give Dears a different title by copying its content and pasting it into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut and paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is needed for attribution and various other purposes. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other articles that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. —Farix (t | c) 11:10, 30 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

I think the Guest Characters for Hoshizora e Kakaru Hashi should be added back... edit

Hi Valce, I noticed that during your complete revision of Hoshizora e Kakaru Hashi the section for Guest Characters was taken out along with the Supporting Characters.

I separated the characters 長瀬 湊 and よっちゃん from the initial long list of Main and Supporting characters and put them under the new subsection Guest Characters because both appear in the Visual Novel as guest characters and are also listed as Guest Characters by the Developer and Publisher Feng on their website: http://hoshikaka.jp/chara11.html

The characters were also voiced by 水沢 光 and YOCCHAN respectively.

If you agree that the Guest Characters could be added back I do not mind doing the editing as I did forget to add the source when I initially separated the characters back in 18th April 2011. --Densebrains (talk) 02:18, 6 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Cross Days edit

Hi Valce, how's it going? I've responded to your query here. I haven't gotten very far on the actual GA review itself, but hope to start working through the article—beginning making copy edits and checking everything—today, a process that'll probably take a few days or so. Talk to you again soon, Moisejp (talk) 03:52, 13 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi Valce. I have put the Cross Days GA review On Hold. Please see my comments on the GA review page. Moisejp (talk) 06:50, 15 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
I wasn't aware how broken this article was; I've already removed 3 dead links. I'm almost inclined to just say forget the whole Good article process, this will definitely fail, lol. Didn't realize how much it had eroded. I'll do my best to find alternatives and address what you wrote down already. Valce Talk 06:51, 15 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
Hi, Valce. How's it going? So, I wasn't sure by your comment above whether or not you think it's worthwhile to continue the review process. You have cleaned up some of the sources and added to the lead, which is good, but the Gameplay section still lacks references. If you think there's a reasonably good chance you'll be able to clean up the article to ship shape within the next week or so, I'm happy to spend the time to go through the process with you, but if you think it's not worthwhile, there's no point spending more time on it. About your sources, it seems you have gotten rid of most of the blogs, so we're definitely on the right track there. A lot of the ones left are sites for companies like 0verflow, Shueisha and Lantis, so those should be fine. What about Getchu.com—you have a few of those—I can't tell on first glance if it is a reliable source or not. So if you have information about that, let me know. I haven't gone through every one carefully yet, though, so there possibly may be others. All right, so let me know what you think about continuing with the review. You'll definitely need to find references for Gameplay before we can get much further. Cheers, Moisejp (talk) 17:56, 19 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hey there, good to hear from you. I feel that I've patched up the questionable sources enough that it would be worth continuing with the review. Getchu.com is a Japanese redistributor of visual novels and other domestic anime products; they've been used as a source for Reception in the Shuffle! article (a Good article) since they do business with developers, making their news more viable than a self-published person's. I'll look for Gameplay citations today. Valce Talk 18:26, 19 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Cool. I'll probably get back to you in a couple of days. I have one or two other GA Reviews that I'm a bit behind on, and so I may focus on them for the next two or three days. Moisejp (talk) 02:29, 20 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
Take your time, no rush. I've also been pretty busy with some of my own work. Just get back when you can. Valce Talk 03:11, 20 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi Valce. Cross Days has now passed. Congratulations! One little thing I thought maybe you could clarify: at the end of Plot "decides to ask her about the affair", I wasn't sure whether the "her" here refers to Roka or Kotonoha. Anyway, I'll leave it up to you to address that as you see fit. Take care, Moisejp (talk) 17:11, 26 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hey Moisejp, thanks a lot :)... Glad I could get the article to Good status. I'll probably be seeing you again in the future as I am currently fixing up Summer Days, lol. Still have quite a bit of work to do but this experience has given me great insight into how to write and source better articles. Hope you had a pleasant holiday, I'll see you around. Re: School Days edit

Yeah, well I thought if you're doing the School Days stuff, and Cloud's busy with the To Heart stuff, I might as well fix Rewrite up for GAC since the Key Good Topic was demoted last month. Seeing as how Cross Days recently got promoted, I thought it'd make sense to look at it and School Days, since GAC standards are always constantly changing, and the last article I brought to GA that was a VN was Kud Wafter over a year ago. I was actually surprised the GA reviewer passed Cross Days with only cites from Getchu in the sales section, a website I stopped using after I got called out on it a few years back I think when I was doing the Little Busters! GA (they still passed it with it, but I became discouraged from using it again). The only reason I started using it in the first place (and thus the reason it populates most of the GA VN articles (most of which I had a hand in)) was because it was used in Shuffle! first, which at the time was the only VN GA article back in late 2006. However, since Cross Days passed with it, I was thinking of using it on Rewrite and see how it goes. I also saw you adding in the system requirements and thought that was a good idea, too. The VN project has been somewhat stagnated as of late, and I think you're making some good contributions to the project.

I also found something that may interest you: School Days LxH as the highest selling PS2 game in January 2008-- 10:21, 15 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi Valce. Good luck with your School Days GAN. I'm on a wiki-break right now (just kind of snooping around backstage), so I'm not doing any reviews, but I'm sure if you're proactive about addressing the concerns of whatever reviewer you get (like you did with Cross Days), you'll do fine. Non-free rationale for File:SMJA TC 1.PNG edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:SMJA TC 1.PNG. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too.
