Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Telugu-Kannada alphabet, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you!   Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), such as at Wikipedia:Teahouse, please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button   located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. Drm310 🍁 (talk) 16:02, 18 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Indic script

edit

  - Please do not add any Indic script, to any of our India related articles, as you did at Karnataka, as this contravenes WP:NOINDICSCRIPT - Thank you - Arjayay (talk) 10:49, 23 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Placenames

edit

Please do not changeg the names of places in articles to different spellings to those used as our article titles,as you did at Karnataka. We use the WP:COMMONNAME in English for our articles, not the "official" names, so changing the spelling breaks wikilinks to those articles and is confusing to our readers - thank you - Arjayay (talk) 10:51, 23 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Please stop adding interlanguage links to the body of articles, as they will, eventually, be removed by a bot. This method of creating links was abandoned in 2013, as explained here.
What you need to do instead, is click "edit links" at the very bottom of the column on the left hand side, and add the pagelink to Wikidata. This means that every other language, with an article on that subject, will automatically link to the page you have added, avoiding having to add links to multiple pages.
In the case of Mollusca, which I have just reverted, there are 109 pages in the left hand column. Under the old system each of those 109 pages would need 109 links, for them all to interlink - this would be a lot of work, and totally clutter up all of those pages, hence the system we have run for over 7 years; - Arjayay (talk) 14:35, 8 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Karnataka Common Entrance Test moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Karnataka Common Entrance Test, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
