Super Bowl

edit

I have deleted the copyrighted material I spoke about earlier. When someone approaches you about a problem you should discuss it with them rather than just deleting the notification. You need to read about Wikipedia:User pages. Especially the sections on what you may use your userpages for, WP:UPYES and what you can not use them for, WP:UPNO. If you continue to add things to your userpages that are not allowed you will be blocked. GB fan 18:36, 14 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

To emphasize the point, part of the page that GB fan directed you to specifically mentions that non-free images are not allowed. Such use is a clear violation of point number 9 of our policy concerning the use of non-free images, and as such I have removed them from your sandbox. Please do not replace them or place other non-free images there. VernoWhitney (talk) 22:26, 14 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Srich32977. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Southern California, but you didn't provide a reliable source. I've removed it for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Two problems: One, the shakemap tells us what happened July 3, 2001, not what will happen or what the Rose Canyon fault is capable of. Two, the 60% chance prediction by 2038 and the Los Angeles building restriction material both lack WP:RS. S. Rich (talk) 01:23, 20 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Ocean City, Maryland, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ocean City (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

final warning

edit

Once again you added things to your sandbox that are not allowed. I just removed a non-free image from it. There are no more chances with this. You have had plenty of chances and you continue to do the same thing. Next time is a block. GB fan 21:44, 28 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

I see that you removed the phrase '(chairman)' from Bill Gates on the Microsoft page regarding members of the board. Is he not the chairman anymore? I think that it is a helpful bit of info. Miller9904 (talk) 04:36, 11 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

A reference problem

edit

Hi! Some users have been working hard on Category:Pages with broken reference names.

Here you added a new reference ref name="mvhs" but didn't define it. This has been showing as an error at the bottom of the article. "Cite error: The named reference REFNAME was invoked but never defined (see the help page)." Can you take a look and work out what you were trying to do? Thanks -- Frze > talk 05:07, 25 October 2013 (UTC) Please ping meReply

Hello, I'm Gtwfan52. I noticed that you made a comment on the page Lakewood High School (Colorado) that didn't seem very civil, so it has been removed. Wikipedia needs people like you and me to collaborate, so it's one of our core principles to interact with one another in a polite and respectful manner. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. It does not matter if you like my user name or not. My edit summary was limited to my opinion on the content (which I am allowed to state). The information you added does not belong to you; rather it is just information about which various people will have various opinions. It is pretty poorly referenced and I may at some point in time remove it. whether I do or not; whether you like my username or not, you are not allowed ever to attack another editor. next time I see it, whether it is directed at me or another editor, I will take it to WP:AN/I. Is that clear enough for you? Gtwfan52 (talk) 21:39, 27 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Please stop breaking the sandbox policies. Stop adding fake links to porn sites and adding disruptive and offensive content to the sandbox. Thank you. K6ka (talk | contribs) 02:03, 3 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Massive redirect retargets

edit

Please don't make mass changes to where established redirects point, like you did with Colts, Buccaneers, and many other pages. It's disruptive. Jackmcbarn (talk) 01:11, 19 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

I redirected it to the sports teams because it mainly meant that. The Ultimate New England Patriots Guy (talk) 01:13, 19 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

No, it doesn't. We have a much larger audience than fans of American sports, and there's absolutely no way any of those things refer primarily to the sports teams. Please don't do that again. Jackmcbarn (talk) 01:14, 19 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

For a few.The Ultimate New England Patriots Guy (talk) 01:17, 19 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

What? Jackmcbarn (talk) 01:17, 19 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

For a few (like Eagles, redirect to the disambig page, Raiders should be to the Oakland Raiders, and a few more). Look more thoroughly at my edit list. The Ultimate New England Patriots Guy (talk) 01:20, 19 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

I did look thoroughly. None of them were good. Take them to WP:RFD if you really disagree. Jackmcbarn (talk) 01:23, 19 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

No you didn't! But I will go to Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion. The Ultimate New England Patriots Guy (talk) 01:25, 19 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

You said you'd go to RfD, but you continued reverting me. Also, you're lying in your edit summaries, such as [1]. Jackmcbarn (talk) 01:31, 19 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours for You have been warnd in the past about changing redirects and that you need to go use WP:RFD. Again you changed a redirect to point to a sports team and then lied about changing the redirect in an edit summary.. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. Going back and relooking at your history, you are not here to contribute in a constructive manner, so I changed the block length to indefinite. GB fan 18:55, 27 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
