A message of encouragement

edit

Hi Uk55. I hope that this evening's events at the Teahouse haven't put you off editing. If you still have concerns about sockpuppetry, I suggest that you take up Skyllfully's offer of help. Beyond that, keep up the good work by making constructive article edits and engaging with other editors on talk pages where appropriate. If you need any other help, please do let me know. Cordless Larry (talk) 22:07, 6 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

@Cordless Larry: Noted, I appreciate your support. That has to be one of the more bizarre criticisms I've had so far, thankfully resolved quickly. Uk55 (talk) 22:16, 6 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
I could perhaps have understood it if you said that they're British, hence they're sockpuppets (as if all British editors were socks), but there was nothing wrong with noting that three editors were all (an important word) British, amongst other similarities, in my humble opinion. Thank you for that SPI

Thank you for starting and pursuing the SPI re. "I B Wright", et al. Jeh (talk) 21:27, 21 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

@Jeh: No problem, thank you for your kind words. Uk55 (talk) 21:55, 21 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
Didn't look like "No problem" to me, looked like a LOT of work to compile all that evidence. I've been sandbagged by IBW/DSP/LR a few times myself but never had drew the lines to connect the dots. Jeh (talk) 04:43, 25 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
@Jeh: Well yeah, it's something I could have done without, but when people behave like that, rational discussion becomes a lot of work too. I figured it was worth dealing with. Uk55 (talk) 18:31, 25 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
