Euroconstruct

edit

Euroconstruct has been proposed for deletion. An editor felt the subject might not be notable enough for an article. Please review Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability for the relevant guidelines. If you can improve the article to address these concerns, please do so.

If no one objects to the deletion within five days by removing the "prod" notice, the article may be deleted without further discussion. If you remove the prod notice, the deletion process will stop, but if an editor is still not satisfied that the article meets Wikipedia guidelines, it may be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion for consensus. Dear NickelShoe - thank you for your feedback. As stated below EUROCONSTRUCT is a non-profit network and we just want to clarify who we are. We do not have the intention to promote ourselfs nor do marketing with this page.
I added some more sources. Please let me know what else I can do to publish it - maybe parts which should be deleted or added. You advice is much appreciated. Uci michael (talk) 14:52, 9 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Euroconstruct, from its old location at User:Uci michael. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. Drm310 🍁 (talk) 14:25, 9 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

What is your relationship with Euroconstruct? You put a conflict of interest disclosure on your userpage. However, if you are employed by Euroconstruct, or you are a third party being paid to represent their interests, then this disclosure is not sufficient. You will have to make a disclosure as a paid editor, in accordance with Wikipedia's mandatory and non-negotiable paid editing disclosure policy.
This policy also applies to your activities on German Wikipedia, which we have been discussing at your talk page there. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 14:32, 9 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for this info. I am part of EUROCONSTRUCT, which is a non-profit network which brings construction related research and consulting companies together. I often experience that people read in the media and have no idea who were are. So I hoped that a wikipedia article give clearlness.
I do not want to promote the network nor our products. If you tell me what I have to delete or what should be added I will try my best to fulfill the requirements on both pages (DE and EN). Uci michael (talk) 14:48, 9 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
Your answer is unclear about whether you are paid by Euroconstruct. If you are paid by them, then it is complusary for you to share that information. Please be aware that Wikipedia makes no distinction between for-profit businesses and non-profit organizations.
An organization doesn't get to have a Wikipedia article just because it exists. For an article about Euroconstruct to be accepted, you will have to show that it meets Wikipedia's notability criteria. To be considered notable and merit inclusion, the organization must have already received significant coverage in multiple reliable and independent sources. We have no interest in what an organization wishes to say about itself, as this is an inherent conflict of interest. Wikipedia prefers sources like mainstream news sources, academic press, and reputable publishers of newspapers, books and magazines. Trade publications can be used in some circumstances, but they are often promotional in nature, given their target audience.
You are free to continue working on the draft article at Draft:Euroconstruct and submit it for review. The article reviewer will provide feedback and suggest revisions if required. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 15:38, 9 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
Thank you very much Drm310 for creating the draft. I am not paid by Euroconstruct. Furthermore I added several sources from media, businesses, academia, and European institutions showing the significance. Looking forward to the feedback of the reviewers.
