Welcome!

Hello, LSU Libraries, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few links to pages you might find helpful:

You may also want to take the Wikipedia Adventure, an interactive tour that will help you learn the basics of editing Wikipedia.

Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or click here to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. Again, welcome! Your username

edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "LSU Libraries", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because Wikipedia accounts must be for individual users only, so accounts whose names are the names of groups or organizations, or imply shared use, are not permitted.. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username, or you may simply create a new account for editing.

Your username may be based on your real name, or not, as you choose (see WP:REALNAME for some considerations), but it should not be the name of any other living person. A username of the form "James at ISU Libraries" would be acceptable, and would serve to declare your affiliation. If more than one person wishes to edit, all are welcome, but each must have their own individual account.

The links in the Welcome message above will tell you more about Wikipedia. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 20:32, 12 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
