Nomination of Last Rites (Megadeth EP) for deletion

edit

A discussion has begun about whether the article Last Rites (Megadeth EP), which you created or to which you contributed, should be deleted. While contributions are welcome, an article may be deleted if it is inconsistent with Wikipedia policies and guidelines for inclusion, explained in the deletion policy.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Last Rites (Megadeth EP) until a consensus is reached, and you are welcome to contribute to the discussion.

You may edit the article during the discussion, including to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. —Justin (koavf)TCM19:58, 26 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please stop

edit

Please I suggest that you read up on Wikipedia policies and guidelines before you continue creating new pages or adding new media. I've no doubt that you can be a helpful editor, but your present behavior of using sockpuppets to give yourself barnstars and recreating deleted material is not going to go well for you. Some of this can probably be chalked up to ignorance of the rules here at Wikipedia. Some of this is clearly an attempt to undermine common sense policies. If you stop the shenanigans, you'll find that you can be productive and possibly even enjoy yourself on Wikipedia. —Justin (koavf)TCM20:08, 26 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Honestly

edit

Quit it It's obvious that you're User talk:71.232.8.202 and blanking an AfD is not going to work. Please stop it. —Justin (koavf)TCM17:06, 27 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

There's no need to shout

edit

Okay I explained to you before that Wikipedia articles must be notable with verifiable sources. If you cannot prove notability with verifiable sources, you cannot create an article on Wikipedia. I understand if you're new and you're not accustomed to our policies and guidelines. That ignorance, however does not excuse behavior like removing an AfD notice from a page which explicitly says "Feel free to edit the article, but the article must not be blanked, and this notice must not be removed, until the discussion is closed" or blanking the AfD discussion. Even if you've never seen Wikipedia before in your life, you know better than that. Or creating fake accounts to congratulate yourself. Or immediately recreating a deleted article. You don't have to be a seasoned Wikipedian to know that you're not supposed to do things like that; it's common sense. If you need help, you can always visit Help:Contents or ask me a question. Again, if you read over our policies a little and try to follow them (instead of ignoring or directly contravening them), I'm sure that you can add to the encyclopedia and you can enjoy doing it. If not, you will continue to be frustrated and upset for no real reason other than your own stubbornness. —Justin (koavf)TCM03:55, 29 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Sure This demo may be rare, good, expensive, something you like, and have a million other properties, but if it's not notable, it can't have an article on Wikipedia. Please see Wikipedia:Notability (music). —Justin (koavf)TCM04:20, 29 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for File:Tnd900's Dog.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Tnd900's Dog.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 19:05, 29 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for uploading File:Megadeth demo and live.jpeg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

PLEASE NOTE:

  • I am a bot, and will therefore not be able to answer your questions. If you have a question, place a {{helpme}} template, along with your question, beneath this message.
  • I will remove the request for deletion if the file is used in an article once again.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please be aware of Wikipedia's policy that biographical information about living persons must not include unsupported or inaccurate statements. Whenever you add possibly controversial statements about a living person to an article or any other Wikipedia page, as you did to Justin Bieber, you must include proper sources. Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Metallica-Ride-The-Lightning-Green.jpeg

edit

Thank you for uploading File:Metallica-Ride-The-Lightning-Green.jpeg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. — ξxplicit 06:57, 29 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace. If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. Your article submission 1984 Demo (Megadeth Demo)

edit

Hello Tnd900. It has been over six months since you last edited your article submission, entitled 1984 Demo (Megadeth Demo).

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note, however, that Articles for Creation is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/1984 Demo (Megadeth Demo)}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 20:15, 8 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Europe 10,000 Challenge invite

edit

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:09, 7 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Fireclown Records

edit

The article Fireclown Records has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

NN album, fails the GNG and NALBUM going away. Zero significant coverage in reliable sources. Releasing band has also been prodded. "This was the only thing that Fireclown ever released, never becoming a completely successful band." 'Nuf 'ced.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
