Welcome to Wikipedia. While everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one of your recent file uploads had missing or false information regarding its source and copyright status. Please note that Wikipedia takes copyright and copyright infringement very seriously. Images and other media may only be uploaded and included if their copyright status meets the conditions stated in our image use policy, and if their provenance is clearly documented. If you have questions, feel free to ask at the copyright question page or on my talk page. Thank you. Escape Orbit (Talk) 19:35, 18 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

I seriously suggest you stop adding unlicenced images to Commons and then attempting to introduce them here. This is really a Commons matter, but since I am not a member, I am mentioning it to you here. Take a look at the image policy guidelines for more information. I would urge you to take them on board, because repeated violation of them can ultimately lead to you being blocked from editing. Paul MacDermott (talk) 20:47, 18 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. OhNoitsJamie Talk 20:19, 19 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Thomas Burt (entertainer)

edit

The article Thomas Burt (entertainer) has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. December 2012

Please do not write or add to an article about yourself, as you apparently did at Thomas Burt (entertainer). Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Self Vs Wikipedia

edit

I see you have a combination of self promotion edits and generally helpful to Wikipedia edits. As you may have gathered by now Wikipedia is not the venue for self promotion. A quick Google search seems to indicate you have not yet reached Notability per Wikipedia policy and guidelines. We thank you for your helpful edits and hope they will continue. If you have any questions feel free to leave a note on my talk page. Jeepday (talk) 12:34, 9 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I openly admit i did vandalize wikipedia and put self-promotional junk on here in December 2012 which i am very sorry for. I promise to never vandalize wikipedia ever again. I intend to help contribute to the encyclopedia if you unblock me, I will Update with new information , Translate and clean up and Remove unsourced material.:ThomasB4412 (talk) 14:40, 10 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Even when prompted, the editor is unable/unwilling to provide sufficient information for a WP:GAB-compliant unblck request. With no idea as to types of edits, their requisite sources, etc, we have no way of gauging future behaviour. As well, I'm not getting the warm fuzzies that this same type of behaviour will not recur in the future if the editor is stressed not only on-wiki but off-wiki (✉→BWilkins←✎) 21:08, 10 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Most of your edits have either been self-promotional junk, or vandalism. What would be your goal if unblocked? What types of articles do you plan to work on? How can we be sure that you won't self-promote or vandalize again. Wikipedia is WP:NOTTHERAPY (✉→BWilkins←✎) 18:20, 10 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
