Hello. I reverted your edit to the University of Texas-Arlington article because the logo you uploaded doesn't have as good of quality as the previous one did. The other difference between the two was the size, which you could of uploaded it on the previous one. And my last question, why would you upload the same file under a different name? I'm just curious. Thanks, CorkythehornetfanTalk 19:19, 9 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the notification. I attempted to add several pixels around the UT Arlington signature to add more visually white space and I downloaded a version from the university communications department. This may explain the differences in the naming. The primary logo in the horizontal format uses the black wordmark, instead of the blue. The university lists the blue wordmark as "acceptable." No explanation listed on this decision. Anyway I optimized the png file to allow each font to fill the pixel spaces as much as possible, instead of straddling them and causing blurs. Unfortunately wikipedia reduced the size and any modifications made got obliterated. I still think the logo needs adequate space, above and below. Theothermav (talk) 20:28, 9 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

If you want to upload a better version with the black font to the one that is currently being used, that would be much appreciated! I went to the website and tried downloading the image, but it said you have to have an account. CorkythehornetfanTalk

Hello. Since you like to update the University of Texas at Arlington article, I thought that you may be interested in a few more articles about UTA... Note that these are not all of them. CorkythehornetfanTalk 21:04, 18 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the links. I initially wanted to add couple of photos, but I'm finding quite a bit of fragmented and unedited content, which I find hard to ignore. There's lack of emphasis on research--the driving force behind UTA's Tier-one pursuit--and very little information on the physical changes that happened during Spaniolo's administration. Some of the building photos need to be updated as well. I'm nowhere near Texas, so it's difficult for me take photos of the campus and not scavenge images from the university. Anyway I'll do what I can, but I have to consider others who may have interest in editing these wiki links.Theothermav (talk) 18:25, 19 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
