Please be aware that a few of the footnotes/references in that article appear blank. Have mörser, will travel (talk) 23:02, 19 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Are several people sharing this account?

edit

I'm inclined to think so based on the disagree-with-myself type edits. If that's the case, it would be less confusing for other editors if you had separate accounts. Regards, Have mörser, will travel (talk) 23:27, 21 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Apologies, this page has been constructed as part of a wider-scale research project based around the Fryer Collection for the purpose of furthering existing scholarship on Eva Bacon and Brisbane Activism. Thus, the four project members associated with this effort have access to the same account and, on occasion, provide minor proof-reading edits. However, the page itself is primarily in the hands of a single member. It will be finalised on Friday and the confusing edits will cease. Hope this isn't a problem. Regards, TheEvaBaconFanClub

Actually, it's not. Check out WP:NOSHARING. 69.181.251.214 (talk) 07:48, 27 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

I apologise, I was not aware of this. The group member in charge will change the account password and it will be her work only from now on. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Theevabaconfanclub (talkcontribs)

There's no problem whatsoever in having the editors who are making only minor edits to that article have separate accounts, or even have no accounts at all and edit unregistered (as IP). Nobody WP:OWNs an article on Wikipedia. The only thing that is prohibited in this context is creating confusion by sharing the same WP:Username between multiple people. Actually, there's another problem too. Wikipedia's username policy does not allow use of user names which are names of organisations, as this may give the impression that the account represents a group rather than an individual. Therefore this username should not be used at all. Really, each person who has used the account would be best off creating an individual account, including "the group member in charge".
