I mostly edit and make pages on EastEnders. I collect signed cast cards from the cast.

TheCoker, you are invited to the Teahouse edit

Hi TheCoker! Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia.
Be our guest at the Teahouse! The Teahouse is a friendly space where new editors can ask questions about contributing to Wikipedia and get help from peers and experienced editors. I hope to see you there! SarahStierch (I'm a Teahouse host)

Articles edit

You cannot just create new articles for a new characters. You have to prove their notability otherwise leave the in the list. I have reverted your edits. The articles for Babe, Pam and Tosh were terrible. Try to aim for atleast 20 sources, a reasonable sized development section etc. It must meet WP:GNG.Rain the 1 23:13, 1 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Okay - perhaps I was a little harsh. They were not the standard the community expects though. Now you know that I expect you will not be doing it again. Half of the problem is new editors often do this. Create an article and leave it to other editors to finish. But we know which articles need to be created - there are loads of them and we can only do what we can in the time we choose to give up for Wikipedia. There is no reason why you cannot work on a sandbox - so create User:TheCoker/Pam Coker and work on it until there is enough information. Examples of new articles created recently are: Terese Willis, Carl White, Zosia March. You can also find good examples of work from Poppy Meadow, Brad Willis (Neighbours). Emmerdale for instance, is the worst - most have articles but they are poor. At this point, no one wants the huge task of revamping the lot. Eastenders, Hollyoaks, Neighbours and Home and Away are well maintained - so it will be great if you can help keep up the good work on these projects. When I first started, my creations of articles were terrible. They are not perfect now but I have tried to learn everything I can and keep improving. It can be fun.Rain the 1 11:00, 2 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
You also created Aleks too.. Anyway, those images can be used in an article. But if there is no article, there is no need for a copyrighted image to be held on Wikipedia. Also, try and use screenshots where possible. They are preferred over high-quality press photos and can be argued better in the fair-use rationale. After all, a low-quality screen-shot in the infobox serves better, it does the job identifying the subject and is basically useless for others to reuse. We cannot use non-free images in lists either.Rain the 1 17:20, 2 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
