Creation of attack pages

edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism, and if you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the hard work of others. Thanks. OhNoitsJamieTalk 21:37, 26 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Regarding your submission to WP:AIV, contrary to your report the anon had only two edits and no warnings. The anon's edits look good-faith to me. A quick check on Google found no evidence to me that Lee Ible is gay or, for that matter, anti-English. As you seem to have made good-faith edits, despite Jamie's warning above, I will continue to assume good faith on your part, but I must ask you for a source for both Lee Ible's homosexuality and his anti-Anglicism. I will delete those sections of Lee Ible for the moment. --Sam Blanning (formerly Malthusian) (talk) 23:28, 30 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

I've had a complaint from someone claiming to be Lee Ible about this edit. So consider this your final warning. If you post defamatory information to Wikipedia again, your editing privileges wlil be revoked. Given your earlier good-faith edits I have no idea why you'd want to attack someone in this way. --Sam Blanning (formerly Malthusian) (talk) 09:05, 31 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for uploading Image:Rock 32.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, or ask them at the Image legality questions page. Thank you. Stan 21:55, 2 April 2006 (UTC)Reply
