Note on contentious topics edit

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in South Asian social groups. Due to past disruption in this topic area, the community has authorised uninvolved administrators to impose contentious topics restrictions—such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks—on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, expected standards of behaviour, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on these sanctions. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

January 2024 edit

Hello, I'm DaxServer. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to Tulu Nadu have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. — DaxServer (t · m · e · c) 08:25, 26 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

What was the need of removal of learn Sangam literature website? It is one of the important citation. TULU PAATERO (talk) 09:20, 26 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Tulu language, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. — DaxServer (t · m · e · c) 12:04, 26 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

You omitted the information cited from a government website in the "Tulu language" article, reasoning unreliability. But, in the "Bhuta Aradhane" article, citation [1] refers to a government website (Karnataka tourism website). This seems inconsistent. TULU PAATERO (talk) 11:30, 1 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Tulupedia edit

Hello TULU PAATERO,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Tulupedia for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!
