Request for mediation rejected edit

The request for formal mediation concerning Cities and towns in the war in Iraq and the Levant, to which you were listed as a party, has been declined. To read an explanation by the Mediation Committee for the rejection of this request, see the mediation request page, which will be deleted by an administrator after a reasonable time. Please direct questions relating to this request to the Chairman of the Committee, or to the mailing list. Your recent edits edit

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 14:50, 6 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Your edits on the Syria map edit

You need to provide sources for all changes. Please read carefully the "Rules for Editing the Map" below before editing the map. Tradediatalk 15:55, 20 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

User:Tradedia The edits were reverting edits without sources, where are the sources for the recent changes??? I was reverting the area to the way it was as their is no evidence of change.

No, the edits you reverted were made with reliable sources. And what about the unsourced edits you made relating to Zabadani, Madaya and half a dozen military bases in Aleppo that were obviously wrong? Tradediatalk 16:30, 23 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

@Tradedia Also the same with At Taff and Sha' arah which was changed and not even contested both of them around 10 days ago, you got a source for that?? It is not vandelism to revert an edit error made by another user, an edit based with no source as well.SyrianObserver2015 (talk) 15:38, 27 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

August 2015 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Talk:Cities and towns during the Syrian Civil War, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Jackmcbarn (talk) 16:40, 22 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Stop pro-government vandalism on the Syrian Civil War Map edit

Stop pro-government vandalism on the Syrian Civil War Map. You made an edit which changed 3 towns from rebel to government. Granted, these towns happen to be held by the government at this point in time, but you need to actually tell people why the edit was made instead of reverting it without explanation.Pbfreespace3 (talk) 19:06, 22 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Plus you brole the 1RR rule of the article. Alhanuty (talk) 21:32, 22 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
You are wrong Pbfreespace3, the towns of At Taff & Sha‘arah are rebel-held and sources were provided for them. Tradediatalk 16:30, 23 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
I do not know about those towns, and I don't care. However, we need to find out who controls Mahin and Huwwarin. We know according to SOHR that ISIS took them a few days ago, but has the government retaken them? Pbfreespace3 (talk) 19:06, 23 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

@Pbfreespace3 There are no articles from SOHR about Mahin or Huwwarin as of recently, however acording to Al Masdar there were brief skirmishes around half way between Qaryatayn and Mahin I don't see anthing else for the past week or two.

@Tradedia Also the same with At Taff and Sha' arah which was changed and not even contested both of them around 10 days ago, you got a source for that?? It is not vandelism to revert an edit error made by another user, an edit based with no source as well.

Also Mahin has been heavly fortified and should not even be contested the same with Hurwann.SyrianObserver2015 (talk) 22:39, 25 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
