Welcome

edit

Hello Sw7071 and welcome to Wikipedia! We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your contributions, such as the ones to Laura Ricciardi, do not conform to our policies. For more information on this, see Wikipedia's policies on vandalism and limits on acceptable additions. If you'd like to experiment with the wiki's syntax, please do so in the sandbox (but beware that the contents of the sandbox are deleted frequently) rather than in articles.

If you still have questions, there is a Help desk, or you can click here to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. You may also find the following pages useful for a general introduction to Wikipedia.

I hope you enjoy editing and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Feel free to write a note on the bottom of my talk page if you want to get in touch with me. Again, welcome! Drmies (talk) 22:00, 28 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

If you tried making these edits before, from an IP address, please consider that making them again will probably lead to a block on this account. Drmies (talk) 22:01, 28 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please do not use styles that are nonstandard, unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Laura Ricciardi. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Thank you. MacAddct1984 (talk | contribs) 22:06, 28 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Laura Ricciardi, you may be blocked from editing. ChaotıċEnby(t · c) 22:08, 28 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Laura Ricciardi. ChaotıċEnby(t · c) 22:11, 28 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

This is your only warning; if you remove or blank page contents or templates from Wikipedia again, as you did at Laura Ricciardi, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Synorem (talk) 22:13, 28 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Conflict of Interest

edit

Hello, Sw7071. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Laura Ricciardi, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. — Manticore 22:55, 28 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for persistently making disruptive edits.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Ad Orientem (talk) 22:58, 28 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

making grammatical changes to Laura Ricciardi's page, and removing vandalizing information that did not pertain to the individual themself. I was editing parts of the sentences/citations around to better fit an original version of the page that had more appropriate syntax. Sw7071 (talk) 00:20, 29 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

This doesn't address what you will do differently or even what was wrong with your edits. 331dot (talk) 09:17, 29 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

You've been warned plenty. If you can't be bothered to pay attention when others revert you (which happened THIRTEEN times), you shouldn't expect to be unblocked. I fixed your unblock request for you. (Oh, and the "syntax" thing is just a lie.) Drmies (talk) 01:20, 29 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
