DYK for Ida Dorsey

On 7 March 2019, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Ida Dorsey, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ...that Ida Dorsey built the last standing bordello (pictured) from Minneapolis' three red-light districts? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Ida Dorsey. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Ida Dorsey), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Fascinating bit of Minnesota history I had never heard. Nice work on the DYK. Jonathunder (talk) 15:09, 7 March 2019 (UTC)
Thank you. If you know anybody at the National Register of Historic Places kindly put in a good word for her building! -SusanLesch (talk) 15:22, 7 March 2019 (UTC)
It is a lovely building. I see she was buried in Lakewood Cemetery. A photo of her grave could add to the article on her. Jonathunder (talk) 19:58, 7 March 2019 (UTC)
Yes, she's right across the street from the Dunwoodys. I will grab an extra vase next time and maybe get a picture if nobody else does first. P.S. Sorry I forgot. Probably I can't make it there until summer 2020. -SusanLesch (talk) 02:15, 8 March 2019 (UTC)
I'll try to get one this summer. Jonathunder (talk) 15:03, 8 March 2019 (UTC)

If I were Gerda, I'd send you an "Awesome Wikipedian" award (even though I shy away from the word "awesome"). Since I'm neither Gerda nor awesome, I'll just say thanks for consistently showing basic good sense. – Sca (talk) 15:07, 29 March 2019 (UTC)

Sorry about that. One false move and all was lost. -SusanLesch (talk) 23:04, 29 March 2019 (UTC)
